Up to 4% of gross revenue—straight to your bottom line

Tymestack is proven to deliver better forecasting, and optimization, for retailers.

Delivered:
A$1.5 billion

There is a world of difference between Tymestack and those who use basic and incorrect methods to provide average forecasting & optimization services.
We measure our difference in millions of dollars of incremental profit. On our way to the current version of Tymestack, we generated clients A$1.5 billion.
Some verticals, like apparel, produce exceptional results. Some are more average. Knowing this, we promise a minimum uplift of 0.25% of gross revenue for any retailer with turnover greater than A$200m. We promise this with confidence because our methodologies are developed by international mathematical modeling experts and have been tested and validated in large Australian retail operations.

Successful A/B tests for Australian retailers prove our impact upfront

Our clients’ businesses are their business, so we redact our public case studies. But we’re very proud of the exceptional results we’ve delivered—far outperforming global competitors.
Our thinking and processes are focused on generating incremental profits. So we don’t ask to get paid for our time.
Instead we prove that we can significantly impact your business, scale our impact, and then share in those results with you.
Tymestack improves retail gross margin through demand and price management, granular promotional, markdown & clearance discounting, optimizing stock sell-throughs and  inter-store inventory flows, and reducing deadstock and inventory capital with practical insights for merchandise and buying teams. Tymestack achieves this through pioneering forecasting and optimization, leveraged by advanced technology, including our patent-pending Graph AI.
In a world where every next thing is "AI", what is "Graph AI"? For technical readers it would be more accurate to say our system is a combination of causal AI, network-based AI, a constrained / structured information propagation & interaction system, probabilistic modelling, and conformal ML.

4% of gross revenue

The issue, simplified

Even large companies still operate basic—rule-based and even manual—discounting strategies. Rules like “After 10 weeks, discount 15%” not only land retailers in trouble with consumers and regulators, but also significantly erode profit margins by being overly simplistic.
The business of trading margin for volume involves significant risk. For example, a 30% discount on a 40% margin SKU requires 300% more sales to maintain profitability. The table below illustrates the % increase in sales required to maintain the same level of profit depending on the SKUs margins % and discount %.

The issue, resolved

Tymestack’s patent-pending algorithms and processes introduce granular elasticity into pricing and inventory strategies.
Small changes recommended by sophisticated forecasting and optimization, and informed by genuine consumer and environmental realities, recover margin previously lost by overly simplistic behaviour.
As illustrated below, margin lost through discounting (in red) is then recovered by Tymestack (in blue) and goes straight to the bottom line. This makes Tymestack’s recovery immediately profitable - an impact without parallel.

Tymestack converts
messy data into money

Tymestack is not just about advanced modeling, it’s also about recognizing that retail is a fast-paced industry where "perfect" solutions might not be practical.
In the real world, IT & merchandising teams are stretched to the limit—leaving some databases with inconsistent product identifiers, format inconsistencies, and unaccounted returns or refunds; in some cases, a complete lack of data and discount history, because some metadata was never collected, arrived incomplete, or simply didn’t arrive at all.
We offer fixes or workarounds for all these issues - integrating your existing systems and converting messy or inconsistent data into actionable insights.
We don’t promise to make your data perfect. We promise to make it valuable.

Introducing our humans

Tymestack is all about leveraging technology, but we know this requires an exceptional cross-functional human team. A team with uncommon depth in core disciplines—forecasting & optimization, dedicated AI/ML, and retail revenue generation.

So we’ve assembled an unrivaled team, a team able to create an unrivaled platform. And now we’d love to help solve some of the issues that undermine your business and sabotage your day.

Tymestack has consistently outperformed leading AI price optimization tools by a minimum of 0.25% of gross revenue. Every time. And that was before we improved it.

We're not free, but we won’t cost you a dime.

We get paid, after you gain

The principles of our revenue model are simple.

Principle #1
Tymestack guarantees every single client significant bottom-line returns. On engagement, we calculate if we can make you significant and measurable bottom-line gains. If we can’t, we’ll congratulate you and wish you well.

Principle #2
We get paid a commission from the additional profit we make you. Tymestack is not an expense. And we’re not an ‘investment’ you have to pay for in advance, hoping to a get a return one day.

Principle #3
We measure the additional profit we make you. To make things simple, we express this as a percentage of your gross revenue, but that total gain is made from larger gains in specific areas like promotional discounting, markdowns, write-offs, and stock acquisition.

Tymestack is built for the complexity of modern retail. Cutting-edge modeling that reduces waste, reduces and even eliminates losses that retailers have become accustomed to as a price of doing business. Best of all, recovered margin drops straight to the bottom line.
